Using Self-Defense Products To Always Keep Your Family Members Protected From Danger

By Hepteer A Cheekob

I am a mommy of three. My kids are my primary concern. My husband, an army captain, is only allowed to return home once per year. With his life always put on the line, I have to ensure that I am always there for my children. However, with mugging and rape cases all around the news, it is difficult to stay protected all the time.

As soon as a robbery occurred at a convenience store several blocks away from our home, I decided to get a Taser and stun guns for myself and my 2 eldest daughters.

A stun gun is a non-lethal weapon intended to incapacitate an assailant momentarily. It does that by sending an electric shock through the body by direct contact. The moment the opponent is down on the floor, you can then run away from the area and ask for help.

A Taser, also non-lethal, delivers an electrical shock too either through long-range or through close-quarter aiming. With it as a long-range weapon, the probes that are connected to 15-foot wires are released onto the assailant. When it serves as a short-range weapon, the probes can still deliver a good level of shock after direct contact with the assailant much like any kind of contact stun gun can.

A Taser uses electro-muscular disruption technology to disarm even someone who has a high tolerance for physical pain.

I got myself a number of small stun guns for my children and also a black Taser M26C for myself. This type of Taser is just like the ones that cops utilize during their duty, making it a formidable self-defense tool.

My acquisition of the police Taser came with four cartridges, a carrying case, a magazine, a manual, and also training materials. These are useful because you can train with the device first before actually taking it with you and utilizing it on a felon.

A Taser and stun guns were precisely what I needed to guarantee the security of my kids and myself. Safety is generally an important concern when it comes to my household.
