Mike Byster shared the secrets to the secrets to genius level-thinking with Allen Cardoza from Answers For The Family and Dr. Melody Foxx. The guest on the L.A. Talk Radio is famous for his math and memory system Brainetics- a revolutionary way to train the brain to solve math problems and improve overall memory. Mike is often called a math genius, but he admitted on the show that as a youngster he was punished with poor grades by his teachers for not abiding by standard mathematical techniques. Nonetheless, his parents encouraged him to pursue his imaginative flair for solving word puzzles as well as calculating mathematical answers.
Prior to developing his own creative ways of thinking smarter, he had tremendous difficulty with spatial orientation. Fortunately, his mother not only taught him how to figure out his left shoe from his right shoe, rescuing him from the merciless taunts of his peers, but also demonstrated the value of creative thinking to solve any problem. Today, Mike travels throughout the country giving free talks every month to students and their parents at local schools.
Scott even demonstrated his mathematical skills on the air by asking Allen for the day, month and also year of his son's birthday... he then computed, within less than a minute, the day of the week the day Allen's son was born. Throughout the lively interview, Mike shared many suggestions on exactly how to focus better and solve problems quicker. His work has assisted regular students, students with special needs, college students, and grownups learn ways to think smarter.
